Cloud-Connected Bioreactors: Optimizing Synthetic Biology Scale-Up
While synthetic biology has considerably advanced in the past decade, cost continues to be a major factor in commercial viability. Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a commonly used microbial host in synthetic biology. These cultures can be grown to very high densities with high expression levels of target molecules, making S. cerevisiae a preferred candidate for cost-effective natural product synthesis. In this webinar, the expert speakers demonstrate the seamless scale-up of a high-yield fermentation process from 250 mL to 5 L, enabled by extensive vessel characterization using cloud-connected bioreactors. The speakers will share insights into how utilizing S. cerevisiae provided an efficient and cost-effective scale-up method. They will also present case studies that illustrate the steps taken to reduce costs and mitigate risks during the scale-up process. The attendees will also gain a comprehensive understanding of how cloud-connected bioreactors can dramatically accelerate the scale-up process in biomanufacturing. The speakers will then delve into practical troubleshooting methods, designed to address and overcome common challenges encountered during scale-up.Moreover, the session will explore effective strategies for reducing costs and de-risking the scale-up process, equipping attendees with tools and knowledge needed to optimize production efficiency and ensure successful outcomes in their biomanufacturing projects.Register for this webinar to discover how cloud-connected bioreactors are revolutionizing the scale-up process for biomanufacturing. What You Will LearnAttendees will learn about:• How cloud-connected bioreactors can accelerate scale-up• Troubleshooting methods to overcome scale-up challenges• Strategies for reducing costs and de-risking scale-upWho Should Attend? This webinar will appeal to:• Small-Mid-Large Biotech/Pharma• Emerging biotechs and startups/Agricultural biotechnology firms• Food Technology and fermentation-based food companies• Biofuel and renewable chemical companies• Research institutions and academia• Bioprocess Engineers• Head of Process Development/Innovation• Upstream Process Development Scientists• Formulation Scientists• Product Development• Consultants/R&D/Scientists/FormulatorsSpeakers: Andrew Horwitz, PhD, Vice President Research and Development, Inscripta; Kris Tyner, Senior Director, Bioprocess Sciences, Culture Biosciences.

GOLTC Webinar: Global Harmonisation of Pain Outcome Measurement for Better Care in Long-Term Care Facilities and Beyond
Pain is connected with emotional, cognitive, and behavioural disorders as well as functional issues. People living in long-term care facilities are often living with dementia or cognitive impairment, frailty and multiple comorbid conditions and can experience complex forms of pain. They are likely to experience issues with mental capacity and communication which can impact on their ability to articulate their pain and how this impacts upon them this has a significant impact on all aspects of their life and well-being. A person living with dementia may exhibit distressed behaviours as a result of experiencing pain and all too often this is considered indicative of a symptom of dementia as opposed to a manifestiation of unmanaged pain. Focusing on improving the identification, assessment and management of pain in residents living in long-term care is of the utmost importance. The webinar will cover: 1. Introduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term care (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre, LSE, UK). 2. Introduction to the GOLTC Pain in Care homes Interest Group • Dr. Zena Aldridge: Social Care Nurse Fellow NIHR, UK • Dr. Manuela Hoedl: Medical University of Graz • Prof. Sandra Zwakhalen: Maastricht University, Netherlands 3. Presentationsa) Developing consensus on core outcome sets of domains for acute, the transition from acute to chronic, recurrent/episodic, and chronic pain: results of the INTEGRATE-pain Delphi process. Giulia Bova (National Institute of Health, NINDS, UK) b) Discussion: Which COS can be integrated in Long-term care? What are the perquisites? What can be challenges.4. Q & A: Ideas/ further plans for improving pain management? 5. Discussion about the Interest Group next steps led by the steering group members. This webinar is free to attend with pre-registration.

The Ultimate 5-Stage Sales Process To Close Deals (Step-by-Step)
Navigating why certain deals closed for your team without a repeatable framework to refer to is one of the main reasons growth stalls as sales leaders try to scale their teams. When you don't have a process to look at, you're leaving too much of your team's quota up to chance - from engaging prospects, posing impactful questions, and effectively managing multiple stakeholders from the first conversation to closing. At Outreach, Mark Kosoglow helped take Outreach from a tiny startup to one of the most well-known Unicorns in SaaS today.Outreach’s success was largely due to the methodical approach they took when training and ramping their AEs to follow a 5-stage sales process. Mark will break down the entire sales process during this live webinar from start to finish. As a sales leader, you’ll walk away with a repeatable and (most importantly) scalable process you can have your sales team implement immediately. Speakers: Armand Farrokh, Founder, 30MPC; Mark Kosoglow, Co-Founder & CEO, Operator.
