Participants will then engage in a hands-on exercise, where they can choose between two tasks of the cross-border initiative:“Inclusion, Gender Equality, and Diversity at My School“: This task asks students to research equality and inclusion policies within their schools, culminating in news articles.“Stereotyping: Who are the Heroes and Villains in the Media?“: This task encourages students to reflect on and analyse stereotypes and how different people are portrayed in the media.This online workshop is aimed at teachers from primary to secondary education and educators of media literacy more broadly. These techniques offer high detection sensitivities and the ability to monitor at scales previously unachievable. However, the data outputs from eDNA surveys are slightly different to traditional monitoring and so we need to think slightly differently about how we design surveys and how to interpret the data.
