Healthcare9/25/2024 8:00 AM
Presenter: Dr. Dujeepa Samarasekera, Head of Centre for Medical Education, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
Interprofessional Education (IPE) is essential in modern medical education, emphasising collaboration among healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. Many medical schools have integrated IPE into their curricula with courses, simulations, and clinical rotations, supported by WHO and Interprofessional Collaborative Practice guidelines. In today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world, universities must prepare students for rapidly evolving healthcare environments through interdisciplinary approaches.
Join Dr. Samarasekera to learn about the National University of Singapore’s journey and learnings from the introduction of an interdisciplinary curriculum for Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy in August 2023.
The webinar will be facilitated by Professor Balakrishnan (Kichu) Nair AM.
