Public Sector webinar by IPPA - International Positive Psychology Association for Sci-Why: Hope Amidst Conflict and Violence
Sci-Why: Hope Amidst Conflict and Violence
When everything is going well, hope is not so relevant. In times of trauma and uncertainty, hope can shine its brightest light. This session will uncover the science of Hope: What is hope? What are its benefits, pitfalls, and limitations? The objective effect of hope on successful outcomes and longevity. How do we sustain hope in challenging times? And does hope even matter at this time? Dr. Oded Adomi Leshem is a Senior Research Associate at The Psychology of Intergroup Conflict and Reconciliation Lab at Hebrew University and a fellow at the Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at Hebrew University. He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University. As Positive Psychology practitioners, IPPA members will learn valuable success strategies to activate hope in order to share it with people we support in our professional and personal lives. The Sci-Why series is hosted by Lisa Honig Buksbaum, MAPP, MBA, President of IPPA's Positive Health & Wellbeing Division.

Healthcare webinar by Parexel for Easing the Challenges of Global Feasibility: Strategies to Balance Priorities, Manage Disparate Data Sources and Mitigate Risk
Easing the Challenges of Global Feasibility: Strategies to Balance Priorities, Manage Disparate Data Sources and Mitigate Risk
In this informative webinar, explore the challenges of global feasibility and gain insights into strategies for successful study start-ups, including protocol optimization, geostrategy and site selection. Global feasibility is the linchpin of successful study start-ups, but it is not a cut-and-dry process. Successful feasibility goes beyond choosing the right countries and the right sites with proximity to the target patient population. It also requires the careful balance of competing organizational priorities from different stakeholders with the potential risks that each presents. How do clinical experts find a compromise between stakeholders when evaluating protocol optimization, geostrategy, site selection and delivery performance? In this webinar, global feasibility and clinical operations experts from Regeneron and Parexel will share their insights, best practices and case studies on global feasibility strategies.
