Workforce Replenishment: How MSOs can Overcome Labor Shortage Challenges - ATX Networks
An already acute shortage of skilled technicians will only worsen when states start doling out $42.5 billion in Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) funding in the next couple of years. That’s why in 2022 ATX introduced its Field Personnel Replenishment Program (FPRP), a hands-on training initiative with a mission to supply the cable industry with a steady flow of qualified skilled labor to help overcome severe labor shortages and assist MSOs in the completion of their ambitious HFC evolution projects. In addition to gaining an understanding of the magnitude of the labor shortage and the latest efforts from private and public organizations to mitigate it, webcast attendees will get an introduction to ATX’s FPRP, including how the program provides specialized on-the-job training to recent college and trade school graduates. During this webinar, ATX Professional Services experts will detail the initiative’s structure and how it is turning graduates into highly skilled and experienced technicians, field engineers and other specialized workers who are ready to start building the network of the future.
