Social Media Influencers (SMIs) play a key role in influencing audiences’ consumption motivation, and decision-making but also influence political stances and pro-social or pro-environmental behaviours. However, in the current global content of volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world, it is vital to understand the influential power of SMIs and how they have been and can be leveraged by organisations for future resilience and recovery.
