As an implementation scientist, Dr Fontaine navigates the complex terrain of bringing scientific advancements into everyday use, devising strategies to overcome barriers and ensure that research findings effectively enhance healthcare and societal outcomes. In this webinar, he will share his expertise in the methodological approaches to support the adoption of evidence-based interventions, practices, programs, and policies in healthcare.
Dr Guillaume Fontaine serves as an Assistant Professor of Implementation Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He currently holds a Visiting Fellow position at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. Dr Fontaine earned his PhD from the University of Montreal and subsequently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Centre for Implementation Research of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. His research program is dedicated to advancing implementation research with a focus on infectious diseases, with a focus on health equity.
