Join our expert speakers as we discuss birth trauma; the definition, the impacts on physical and mental health, and how to get help.

Birth trauma has been hitting the headlines, with thousands of women coming forward to describe the debilitating psychological, physical, and societal impacts of traumatic births on their lives. 30,000 women develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) every year because of a frightening, stressful or distressing events related to childbirth. Many also find themselves recovering from birth injuries which can be life altering, resulting in chronic pain, incontinence and infertility.

Join our expert speakers as we explore this subject in more detail, answering the key questions; What are the main causes of birth trauma? What are the psychological and physical impacts? And most importantly, what support is available for the people affected?
