Description

The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is helping make evidence-based social and emotional learning an integral part of education from preschool through high school. They provide resources, guidance, and support to schools, districts, and communities to implement SEL practices and policies. CASEL believes that SEL is essential for promoting equity, supporting students' academic and personal development, and creating nurturing learning environments.

Leading Schoolwide SEL: Preparing for the Journey Ahead. Winter 2024: Four-Part Live Virtual Workshop Series. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is gaining momentum and the demand for an educational approach that centers on the needs of the whole child continues to grow. Join us for a four-part virtual workshop series to build a plan for systemic SEL implementation in your school community. This workshop is for school leaders, administrators, SEL team members, and those interested in leading schoolwide SEL implementation. Workshop sessions include establishing a shared understanding of systemic SEL, strengthening adult SEL, promoting SEL for students, and implementing your plan. Sessions are facilitated live over Zoom on Tuesdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM EST. Registration fee is $250.00. Each participant must provide a unique email address.
