Description

We want to reduce the transmission of resistant bacteria in neonatal intensive care units across Europe and globally. The NeoIPC project aims to identify best practices for the prevention of infections and surveillance of resistant bacteria in neonatal intensive care units. By conducting a clinical trial, the project will assess the safety and effectiveness of low-cost and simple interventions to prevent transmissions and infections with hospital bacteria in newborns. Led by the University of Padova, the NeoIPC project consists of thirteen partners representing multiple institutions in Europe and Africa.
