Career Pathways in Adult Education: Using Your Adult Education Degree in Practice
Adult education research has enabled us to learn more about adult learners. Adult learners can be found in both formal and informal contexts. As such, adult education skills and knowledge are needed in a variety of settings.In the book Career Pathways in Adult Education: Perspectives and Opportunities, edited by Catherine H. Monaghan, E. Paulette Isaac-Savage, and Paul G. Putman, practitioners (contributing authors) describe their adult education career journey. In this webinar, participants will learn how three contributing book authors applied their adult education expertise to enhance their job opportunities and broaden their perspectives about the field. Topics will include technology, community-based adult education, and professional development within a K-12 setting.The speakers will discuss how they have used their adult education degree in practice.
