Founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO, IAU provides expertise, publications, advisory services, peer-to-peer learning, events, and global advocacy. IAU's mission is to promote and strengthen higher education worldwide, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among universities and supporting sustainable development and internationalization in the sector.
