ILRI is an international research organization working towards improving food security and reducing poverty through research for better and more sustainable use of livestock. They focus on areas such as climate adaptation, environmental health, gender equality, nutrition, poverty reduction, and livelihoods. ILRI is actively engaged in various CGIAR research initiatives and platforms and conducts research programs in animal and human health, feed and forage development, livestock genetics, and more. Their work spans across multiple countries in Africa and Asia.
