The National Association of Counties (NACo) is a united voice for America's counties, representing nearly 40,000 county elected officials and 3.6 million county employees. NACo works to advocate for county priorities, promote exemplary county policies and practices, nurture leadership skills, optimize county and taxpayer resources, and enrich the public's understanding of county government. NACo provides a wide range of tools, resources, and programs to support counties in areas such as advocacy, cost savings, professional development, and programs and resources. Through its various initiatives and resources, NACo aims to strengthen America's counties and create healthy, safe, and vibrant communities.
