Green careers; supporting the future talent pipeline
In recent years, sustainability has become a major focus across various industries and sectors, as businesses and individuals recognise the importance of preserving our planet’s resources for future generations. IEMA (the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment) is the global professional body for over 21,000 individuals and 300 organisations working, studying or interested in the environment and sustainability.Climate change and our biodiversity crisis is affecting every country across the globe, and we therefore need to work collectively to drive change and live more sustainably for future generations. We want to make green skills mainstream. To reach a future green economy, we need to support individuals at all stages of their career, to harness enthusiasm for protecting the environment, upskill in new technologies and bring green knowledge into every role.Martin Baxter, Deputy CEO and Rebecca Turner, Career Pathways Manager, from IEMA, will be presenting this session to CDI members on Wednesday 26th June at 3pm.
