Description

IUCN, the International Union for Conservation of Nature, is the world's largest and most diverse environmental network. They work to mobilize action and raise awareness about the importance of nature conservation. With a focus on biodiversity, climate change, freshwater and water security, governance, and protected areas, IUCN uses a science-led approach to inform policy and support conservation action. Their work involves data analysis, convening stakeholders, and implementing initiatives to protect and restore ecosystems. IUCN also collaborates with governments, NGOs, and indigenous peoples' organizations to address global environmental challenges.
